| Drift Skoda 130, Skoda is a Czech car and is nowadays owned by VW. I've read some roadtest o f those dating back to the 80's and some who drove it said it was tail-hap py a bit like a Porsche 911, and that was perhaps no wonder since this car has it's engine in the back as well as the 911 does(wait a minute does it ?)There even was a group B rally version in the late 80's that was superch arged.Naturally for inexperienced drivers those cars were dangerous in the wet or snow and the car got a bad reputation. The roadtesters said it had a personality of its own and the pushrod engine (americans still do those) had enough power for its capacity. This very ingine was indeed transplante d in the early Skoda Felicias and was preferred by the testers to the VW p owered version which was dull.Kudos to the driver. And to all the kids who complains why it doesn't have 18inch wheels or wings or stickers or other kiddie-crap, grow up. |
